How It Works

1. Register
Please submit your resume. If you meet our criteria, we will conduct reference checks and invite you to complete our online registration form. This will also include a brief safety induction.

2. Await Job Roles
We will inform candidates when job openings that align with their skills, experience, and availability arise. Candidates are also encouraged to monitor our social media channels for announcements regarding open positions.

3. Requirements
Once selected for a role, candidates must fulfill the requirements specific to the client, project, and site, including inductions and training. Additionally, candidates must be fit for work, passing a comprehensive medical examination and drug and alcohol testing.

4. Start Job
Candidates will receive the essential site details to begin their assigned job roles. They are expected to execute the necessary tasks and contribute to the project in accordance with the client’s instructions.

5. Finish Job
Upon completion of the job, candidates will have the opportunity to share their feedback regarding their experience. Additionally, we will collect feedback from the client concerning the candidate's performance, professionalism, and compliance with safety protocols.

What you require:
✅ Age Requirement: 18 years or older.
✅ White Card (Construction Induction Training): Required for rail construction and maintenance roles.What we can help you to obtain to start in rail:
✅ Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card: National competency card required for most rail jobs.
✅ Cat 3 Rail Medical Assessment: Minimum medical standard to ensure fitness for work near railways.
✅ Track Access Accreditation: If working on or near railway tracks, you need a "Track Awareness" or "Safeworking" qualification.
✅ Driver’s License: Often required, especially for maintenance and operations roles.

1. Pay & Conditions 💰
Casual rail workers earn higher hourly rates (+25% casual loading).
No paid leave (sick leave, annual leave), but superannuation (11%) must be paid if earning $450+ per month.
Minimum shift length usually 8 hours, depending on the role and agreement.
2. Job Security & Shifts ⏳
No guaranteed hours; work depends on demand.
May be offered ongoing shifts if performing well.
3. Cost of Qualifications 💳
Many required qualifications & medicals must be self-funded, as they are personal certifications that you will retain and can use throughout your career.
In some cases, we can assist with upfront payment and deduct costs from your wages once you start working.

Completing the core rail units (such as Track Safety Awareness and Safeworking) is essential for starting and progressing in the industry.
To further increase your qualifications and job opportunities, aim to complete a Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure, which provides a broader skill set and makes you more competitive for higher-level roles.

We pay weekly for all work completed in the previous week (Monday to Sunday).
Payslips are sent out on Wednesdays.
Pay is processed on Thursdays and should reach your account the same day, depending on your bank.
